I am giving an illustrated talk at the Newark Library on Friday, 15th November, 3.30-5pm ‘The Return to the Hinterlands’ costs just £5, maximum 40 people. no one under 17years, insurance reasons   Come and join me, pay at the door, cash only.

  My book’ Return to the Hinterlands’ is now available at the National Museum of Football, both in the store and from the on line shop. Bromsgrove Sporting and a grand day

  I travelled to Bromsgrove Sporting at the weekend and have a column in the ‘non league paper’ this Sunday, 22nd September. The experience was a good one, an FA Cup qualifying match, 2nd round, with warmth and humour and great hospitality in the press box. This is a fine ground to visit
